Most players wh have already had the chance to try out MARVEL's Iron Man VR are probably past that initial stage that made them doubt the quality of this new game coming to PlayStation VR. Many were upset that this was not a "proper" game, and that it was no more than a glorified tech demo.
As it turns out, even the playable demo that was released in May put some other VR games to shaem, with lots of content for players to actually get to feel like Iron Man — which is something that the developers at Camouflaj have already said was their main goal; to make players feel like the beloved hero.
Another important aspect that the developers considered when working on MARVEL's Iron Man VR was that the story needed to be worthy of the character, which is why they would always go back to the source material whenever they didn't know what to do next; making sure that they were being faithful to the comics.
MARVEL's Iron Man VR is only a couple of weeks away from finally becoming available for the PlayStation VR, and today PlayStation has shared a short trailer that sees the player becoming the Armoured Avenger and fighting against Ghost.
Take a look:
Tony Stark has retired from making weapons and instead creates technology used to battle evil as Iron Man. After several years as a world-famous Super Hero, Tony is attacked by the mysterious Ghost, a hacker and anti-corporate activist who repurposes old Stark Industries weapons. In her efforts to topple his empire, Ghost attacks Stark’s corporate locations around the world, leading to ever-escalating stakes and a final showdown.
MARVEL's Iron Man VR is expected to release for PlayStation VR on the 3rd of July.
