MediEvil, the remake of the 1998 PlayStation action-adventure, is set to release on PS4. Ahead of its release, Sony is giving fans a chance to slice their way through Zarok's resurrected zombie horde.
Fans can download The Short-Lived Demo for
MediEvil on PlayStation 4 right now and re-live a piece of Sir Dan's legend. The demo
is now live and will be available to download until October 7.
MediEvil has been completely remade from the ground up with new visuals experience in native 4K. The "classic" gameplay is still said to be present, but hopefully Sony has addressed some of the control issues that plagued the original.
Step into the bones of Sir Daniel Fortesque, a slightly-inept (and long dead) knight accidentally resurrected by his greatest enemy, the evil sorcerer Zarok. With a second chance to foil his greatest foe, Dan will once again set out to save the kingdom of Gallowmere and earn his place as a true hero.
MediEvil releases for PlayStation 4 on October 25.
