Sony Interactive Entertainment has filed a brand new trademark for
WILD, the Michel Ancel-directed PlayStation 4 exclusive that had been his main passion project before Ubisoft finally decided to greenlight
Beyond Good and Evil 2 around mid-2016. While
WILD was announced back in 2014 as one of the first major PS4-only titles, it's still pretty much unclear when the game is actually coming out.
The fact that
WILD has been trademarked once again definitely bodes well for the survival adventure game devoted to the wilderness, as many players had been worried that it would never be released. Considering that Panache Digital Games' upcoming multiplatform
Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey is tackling a quite similar subject, it will be quite interesting to see which video game will debut first.
In
WILD, the player will be forced to experiment with their surroundings in their quest for survival as a simple plant could just as easily save their life – or bring about a swift death, according to Sony.
WiLD is a survival adventure game devoted to the wilderness. Set 10,000 years ago when nature and humanity were one. Experiment with your surroundings in your quest for survival – a simple plant could just as easily save your life… or bring about a swift death.
WILD is coming to PlayStation 4 (?).
