About a month ago, PlayStation 4 Lead System Architect, Mark Cerny,
revealed some very interesting details about the next generation PlayStation console; a console that the developers say is not going to be a minor upgrade like the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One S.
One of the things that Cerny mentioned was that the next generation console will have some loading times that are definitely faster than the current PlayStation 4 Pro console; using
Marvel's Spider-Man tas an example o show off these lightning-fast loading times.
While he did mention that these loading times would be a lot faster in the next generation console, as opposed to the PlayStation 4 Pro's loading times, all we got was his word for it — since we didn't really get to see said loading times in action; that is, until today.
The Wall Street Journal Tech Reporter Takashi Mochizuki has recently shared a clip that perfectly illustrates the difference between the PlayStation 4 Pro's loading times against the next generation PlayStation console.
From what we can see in the video, loading times are definitely faster, taking less than a second to load the map of New York from
Marvel's Spider-Man. We also see that traversing across the city at high speeds doesn't require any loading times, as opposed to the PlayStation 4 Pro.
