Sucker Punch's long-awaited, and highly anticipated Ghost of Tsushima is almost here, after all of the waiting players have been enduring since the game was initially announced during the Paris Games Week all the way back in 2017.
In May of this year, PlayStation revealed a bunch of details about the upcoming title, during a special State of Play presentation, that made fans anticipate Ghost of Tsushima even more; from the game's vast, and beautifully realised open world, to the combat system and photo mode .
Over the last couple of days, Sucker Punch and PlayStation have been releasing some overview trailer that place the focus on specific aspects of Ghost of Tsushima. Yesterday, for instance, we got an overview trailer that focused entirely on exploration, and the day before that we got one that focused on the game's combat system.
Today, PlayStation has released yet another overview trailer for Ghost of Tsushima, and this time they have chosen to focus on the game's overall customisation, which allows players to fully customise main character Jin Sakai, in order to help him on his journey.
This overview trailer also focuses on the game's innovative Photo Mode, which allows players to take some beautiful screenshots that can even feature animated backgrounds — which is actually one of the features that have gotten the most praise from those who have played and reviewed Ghost of Tsushima.
Take a look:
In 1274, the fearsome Mongol Empire invades the Japanese island of Tsushima and slaughters its legendary samurai defenders. Jin Sakai is one of the last survivors of a noble samurai clan. To combat his overwhelming foes, he must pioneer deadly new fighting techniques--the way of The Ghost--and wage an unconventional war for the people of Japan.
Ghost of Tsushima is expected to release exclusively for the PlayStation 4 on Friday the 17th of July.
