Sony Interactive Entertainment and Pixelopus have released a brand new trailer (via
PlayStation) for the upcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive named
Concrete Genie. The game follows a teenage boy named Ash who paints artwork on the walls of his abandoned hometown in order to take refuge from his troubled life.
Up until now, we only known that
Concrete Genie will be releasing in Fall of this year; thanks to the aformentioned trailer, we now know the the PlayStation 4 exclusive will be releasing on October 8th for residents of North America. If you're in Europe, you'll unfortunately have to wait an extra day.
The price of the upcoming game was also revealed to be $30. There will also be a Digital Deluxe Edition available for $40. The slightly more expensive version of
Concrete Genie will include a digital soundtrack, digital art book, an add-on pack (called: Pond Design), and a dynamic theme for your PlayStation 4 homescreen — which will feature a lighthouse.
Pre-ordering the game will entitle you to another dynamic theme as well as a set of user avatars.
Concrete Genie is a game about a bullied teenager named Ash, who escapes his troubles by painting spectacular living landscapes and mischievous creatures throughout his abandoned hometown of Denska. As he masters this magical paint, he discovers it can purify Denska’s polluted walls.
Concrete Genie will exclusively release on the PlayStation 4 on October 8th, 2019.
