While Sony may still have fans eagerly, and impatiently wanting to see what the yet-to-be-unveiled PlayStation 5 looks like, some images have managed to leak online that have
given us a look at the PlayStation 5's dev kit; while it may not be much, it is still something.
Sony has also filed some interesting controller patents that also give us a very rough idea of what the PlayStation 5's DualShock 5 could end up looking. Unsurprisingly, Sony has decided to keep the overall design they have managed to keep since the brand's inception.
Today, thanks to some new images that have managed to make their way online, we may have our first unofficial look at the PlayStation 5's DualShock 5 controller. If these images were legitimate, it could mean that the patents that Sony filed back in November where, indeed, for the controller of their new platform.
Much like the filed patent, the DualShock 5 looks slightly bulkier than the PlayStation 4's controller. It is also worth mentioning that this is the controller that developers are using to develop games for the PlayStation 5, as part of the console's dev kit, so it is only functional and in no way representative of what the final product will look like; chances are, however, that the design itself will remain unchanged, but it will look "prettier".
