Black Friday may be over, but the holiday sales are still ongoing.Amazon has rolled right into its Cyber Monday deals, offering discounts on hundreds of gaming products.
Many of the deals we're seeing are in line with what was offered during the week of Black Friday, especially when it comes to PlayStation. Consoles are still $100 off, which is in line with Sony's own publisher sale which runs until December 5th. I expect we'll see many of these PS5 discounts run until at least then.
If you didn't purchase a PlayStation 5 console on Black Friday, you can still find them for $100 off their regular price. The PS5 Digital Edition is currently $399.99, while the PS5 Disc Edition is $449. The more powerful PS5 Pro is $649, also $100 off its usual price.
In addition to consoles, Amazon's Cyber Monday deals include discounts on DualSense Wireless Controllers (savings vary depending on color), the PlayStation Portal, and a bunch of different headsets.
A ton of PlayStation 5 games are also on sale and in some cases at better prices than we saw during Black Friday. 2K's and EA's annual sports titles remain on sale along with Sony's signature exclusives, like The Last of Us. Here are some quick hits below:
Amazon's Cyber Monday deals will run through the weekend, so be sure to check out all the PlayStation deals here. In addition to PlayStation, you'll also find savings on the Nintendo and Xbox products. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like we'll be getting any holiday discounts on the Xbox Series X or Series S consoles.
Amazon isn't the only one still offering Black Friday/Cyber Monday savings. Most major retailers have been running multi-week sales that pretty much blur the line between the two major shopping days. Many of the deals we saw prior to Thanksgiving remained in place through Black Monday and are likely to remain consistent through Cyber Monday.
Overall, it hasn't been a great year of gaming discounts, especially on consoles. A lot of that likely has to do with the rising costs of hardware. Tariffs and supply strains have resulted in Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft all being forced to raise the price of their consoles and accessories. Many of the discounts we've seen this year, especially for PS5, simply bring the cost down to what it was around launch five years ago.
