Pinball games fans are in for a treat as Pinball FX is bringing together
Back to the Future,
E.T. The Extraterrestrial, and
JAWS in
Pinball FX2 VR - Universal Classics Pinball for the PlayStation VR.
Each of thee games are based on one of the aforementioned movies, plus the VR experience that will have players feeling like they're the protagonists as they experience classic scenes from the movies.
Back to the Future sees players reliving the adventures of Doc Brown and Marty as they travel through time just like in the movie trilogy, while also getting to see the DeLorean flying around the pinball machine. Not only that but the game also features the clock tower with all the sound effects heard in the film.
The
E.T. The Extraterrestrial pinball shows off the moving bond between E.T. and Elliot as players relive the most memorable scenes from the movie and get to interact with E.T.—who will make objects fly around the pinball table and even stretch his neck to see how you're doing in your game.
The
JAWS pinball will make players think twice about getting in the water as they will experience those terrifying moments from the movie. The white shark will circle your pinball machine and even try to take a bite out of it every now and then. As if that wasn't enough, the pinball machine actually floats on top of a piece from the classic Orca boat featured in the movie—adding to the terrifying scene even more.
It really seems like fans of pinball games will get a kick out of the
Universal Classics Pinball by Pinball FX, especially now that
Back to the Future,
E.T. the Extraterrestrial, and
JAWS are no longer part of the theme parks. While this game may not be the closest thing to actually visiting the attractions at the Universal Studio theme parks, it actually comes pretty close. Whatever the case, it can't be worse than the horrid
Universal Studios Theme Park Adventures for the Nintendo GameCube.
