Santa Monica Studio's
God of War has already been available, exclusively for the PlayStation 4, for a bit over a year now; immediately becoming one of the most talked-about games of last year and even managing to win the Game of the Year award from multiple media outlets, including The Game Awards.
The development team had been working on
God of War for over 5 years and, looking back on all of the success that the game had over the course of last year, it definitely shows that they put their heart and soul on the project.
On
God of War's one year anniversary, Santa Monica Studio announced that they would be releasing a documentary called
God of War - Raising of Kratos. This documentary would feature interviews with the cast, the game's composer, director, and feature a bunch of behind the scenes that show those 5 years of hard work that ended up becoming
God of War.
Today, Santa Monica has finally released the full length
God of War - Raising of Kratos feature, which includes almost two hours of behind the scenes footage that tell the story of how everyone came together to redefine the series, as well as its main character: Kratos.
Check it out:
His vengeance against the Gods of Olympus years behind him, Kratos now lives as a man in the realm of Norse Gods and monsters. It is in this harsh, unforgiving world that he must fight to survive…And teach his son to do the same. This startling reimagining of God of War deconstructs the core elements that defined the series—satisfying combat; breathtaking scale; and a powerful narrative—and fuses them anew.
God of War is available exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
