Back in 2013, Naughty Dog released
The Last of Us for the PlayStation 3. This narrative-driven third-person shooter title immediately became one of the most acclaimed games ever made and was promptly remastered in 2014 for the PlayStation 4.
All these years later, it seems that
The Last of Us has stood the test of time and many still consider it to be worthy of all the praise. Recently, review-aggregate site
Metacritic held a poll to determine the best game of the last ten years. Naughty Dog's acclaimed title stood at the top of the results.
Similarly, a poll was held to figure out the best game of 2019.
Resident Evil 2 topped that list, while
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and
Death Stranding came in second and third place.
As you can see below, in regards to the best game of the last decade,
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild came in second place while
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt earned a bronze medal.
