The release of a staggering number of projects in the entertainment industry have understandably been delayed as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, but even though the number continues to grow, the status of some projects still remain unclear.
However, after much speculation from fans, Sony Interactive Entertainment has officially announced that The Last of Us Part II Has been delayed indefinitely, confirming what many had begun to suspect would happen.
In addition to the highly anticipated Naughty Dog title, Sony also revealed that Marvel’s Iron Man VR, a game which as the name suggests would let players don the Avenger's iconic armor, had been delayed.
While this news will likely disappoint some fans who were probably hoping to spend their time in quarantine with these titles, Naughty Dog released a statement explaining the decision to postpone the launch of The Last of Us Part II and promising to deliver a quality experience in due time.
