It has been a hectic week, to say the least, in regards to all of the new consoles that have released from both Microsoft and Sony. However, while the talk is about the new generation of hardware and how far it will be taken, it's impossible to forget some of the exciting video games that are releasing on these groundbreaking consoles.
One of the games that have had fans talking ever since its announcement has been Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales. While the spin-off title is releasing for the PS5, it also is getting some attention on the PS4 and because of that, there has been a massive outpouring of support through various means. What next-gen gaming has to offer that has never been provided before (and fans can't get enough of) has been the inclusion of a photo mode.
With photo mode, players can create iconic shots of their favorite characters in gaming and show off not just their photography skills, but the effort that the developers put out to make sure every environment and model is as pristine and detailed as possible. That being said, of course, Miles Morales has a photo mode and it is fantastic! Recently, the Insomniac Games Twitter revealed a brand new trailer that brings the new mode into the spotlight and shows off many of its features, which include playing with the lighting and colors on a level previously unseen.
Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is yet another groundbreaking achievement in gaming and technology as a whole and it goes to show the potential that the PS5 will have in its life cycle. Make sure to share your thoughts on the trailer in the comments below!
The story picks up about a year after the events of The City That Never Sleeps. Miles Morales, having gained spider-like powers himself at the end of Marvel's Spider-Man, looks to become the newest web-slinger of New York City under the guidance of his mentor, Peter Parker.
Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is out now for the PS4 and PS5!
