Fans of the Final Fantasy series don't always agree on which is the best game in Square Enix's long-running, and critically acclaimed series of role-playing games, but they always seem to agree on the fact that Nobuo Uematsu's Final Fantasy VII soundtrack is, hands down, the best the series has to offer.
Uematsu's work on Final Fantasy VII is so memorable, that many consider this soundtrack to be one of, if not, the best music in any video game — and even saying that is underselling it, mind you — which is why many fans of the original game were thrilled to find out that Uematsu was returning to compose the music in Square Enix's remake.
Earlier this year, Square Enix announced that Final Fantasy VII Remake would be getting a proper original soundtrack for fans of the series to add to their collection — featuring Nobuo Uematsu's reimagined version of the music from the original game.
The Final Fantasy VII Remake Official Soundtrack is including 7 discs with a wide selection of tunes from the recently released title, as well as the all-new "Hollow" theme that Uematsu wrote for the remake, and is performed by Kazushige Nojima.
Square Enix has just announced that pre-orders for the Final Fantasy VII Remake Official Soundtrack have just opened, ahead of its release on the 31st of July, and fans can now pre-order it from the official website by clicking right here.
