Sony has taken a page from Nintendo's book and announced that they will be streaming their very first video game streaming presentation called State of Play; akin to Nintendo's very own Nintendo Direct presentations.

The PlayStation State of Play stream will be streamed on Monday the 25th of March at 2pm Pacific Time, and promises to give information about PlayStation 4 and PS PV software updates, as well as other video game announcements for their console.

This announcement comes at the right time, too, since Sony announced last year that they would be sitting out this year's E3 — which is something that Nintendo has been doing for a while now; by replacing the panel with their straight-to-the-point Nintendo Direct presentations.

While Sony did not reveal exactly what they will be showing, or the length of their State of Play presentation, it is very likely that they will showcase some of their heavy hitters for this year, like Days Gone, The Last of Us Part II, and Death Stranding, plus some other smaller announcements here and there.
