Just when we thought that Sony and PlayStation had absolutely no more surprises to share this year, at least in regards to this current generation of consoles, they announce that a State of Play presentation will be livestreamed this week; as soon as this Thursday!
As per the official post on the PlayStation Blog, this upcoming State of Play presentation will be livestreamed this Thursday the 6th of August at 1:00PM Pacific Time / 4:00PM Eastern Time / 9:00PM British Summer Time, weighing in at around 40 minutes.
This presentation will be mainly focusing on games that will be releasing for the PlayStation 4 and PlaySttion VR, but will also check in on third-party titles and indie games, showing off plenty of gameplay footage for players to get excited over.
Sony does make it very clear that games that have been revealed for the PlayStation 5 may get a little spotlight, but no big announcements will be made during the presentation, so don't get your hopes high.
We could assume that some current-gen first-party titles could also be mentioned, especially those that could end up getting the enhancement treatment for the PlayStation 5. Whatever the case, a PlayStation 4 and PS VR-focused presentation is definitely exciting news, and we cannot wait to see what PlayStation has in store for us.
