Judgment is Ryū ga Gotoku's brand-new intellectual property after they ended the critically acclaimed
Yakuza series with the phenomenal
Yakuza 6: The Song of Life. In fact,
Judgment is actually a Yakuza series' spin-off, so players will feel quite at home when the game releases exclusively for the PlayStation 4 on the
25th of June.
Ryū ga Gotoku really set the bar high with the
Yakuza series as a whole, and even more so with the final game, but
Judgment seems to take all of the best elements from the acclaimed series and even improve on them; promising to be quite the experience for
Yakuza fans and newcomers.
One of the things that
Judgment has improved on, when compared to the
Yakuza series, is the over the top combat — which is looking better than ever in the latest gameplay trailer for the game; showing off some pretty insane combos and slow motion moments that add intensity to the already intense fights.
Sega was also kind enough to release two versions of the Combat trailer for
Judgment: One with the English voice-over, and one with the original Japanese voice-over so, without further ado, check this awesome new trailer out:
SEGA of America is proud to announce that the new courtroom thriller from Ryu Ga Gotoku Studios, Project JUDGE (working title), will release in 2019 on the PlayStation®4. Project JUDGE will feature the voice acting talents of Japanese actor/artist Takuya Kimura as the game's main protagonist, Takayuki Yagami.
Judgment is expected to be available for the PlayStation 4 on the 25th of June.
