After teasing fans with a number of images, Netflix has released the first teaser trailer for their highly anticipated The Witcher series, providing fans of both the books and video games with an excellent look at the gorgeous fantasy show.
The official trailer doesn't reveal a whole lot of plot details, but it does provide viewers with a look at a number of the series' principle characters, including Henry Cavill (Justice League) as Geralt of Rivia, Anya Chalotra (Wanderlust) as Yennefer, and Freya Allan (Into the Badlands) as Ciri.
Given the fact that it's just a teaser, it's not surprising that the teaser doesn't showcase a lot of the bigger set pieces. Of course, there are still some exciting snippets of action that should pique the interest of viewers.
