With the Assassin's Creed series' newest instalment finally hitting shelves, Crystal Dynamics recently took to social media to congratulate Ubisoft.
Similar to when Santa Monica Studio and Guerilla Games congratulated Insomniac Games on last month's release of Marvel's Spider-Man; Crystal shared some adorable fan-art which features their prized heroine, Lara Croft, stood beside Ubisoft's newest, Kassandra. The art is by talented illustrator and graphic designer: Tholia Artworks.
The official Tomb Raider Twitter account said as such: “Congratulations to the @AssassinsCreed team on an amazing launch -- we can’t wait to play! (Also Kassandra’s biceps have a very special place in our heart.)” Ubisoft later replied to the lovely congratulations message with: "Be it under cover of mud or darkness, the strong band together to set the world aright."
Check out the tweets and fan-art below:
What do you think of the artwork? What do you think of the heartwarming, new trend in which game studios congratulate each other on their releases with adorable fan-art?
Assassin's Creed Odyssey and Shadow of the Tomb Raider are both out now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
