Microsoft's Vice President of Gaming Phil Spencer has recently revealed a bunch of new, and interesting details about the upcoming Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X; giving players a better idea of what to expect from the highly anticipated next-gen console.
During a recent interview with Kotaku, Phil Spencer has actually been revealing quite a handful of juicy details about the consoles, as he has had time to play on both of them for quite a while now, and he's actually made an interesting comment in regards to loading times.
According to Spencer, when specifically asked whether he could compare the differences between both of the consoles Microsoft will be offering, his Xbox Series S console actually has faster loading times than his Xbox Series X, which has come as a surprise to him.
"Being honest, the Series S has surprised me in terms of how it performs," revealed Spencer as he mentioned that this is mainly due to the Xbox Series S not having to load high-res graphics.
The Xbox Series S and the Xbox Series X are basically the exact same console, with the exception that Series S will not play games in 4K and will not feature a disc drive; other than that, the low-end Xbox Series console will give players the same experience.
Unsurprisingly, Spencer has also revealed that he believes the Xbox Series S will end up outselling the Xbox Series X, as he knows that the price of the former will be a deciding factor, and is likely what will make players gravitate more towards the cheaper option.
Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S are expected to launch worldwide on Tuesday the 10th of November.
