Microsoft and 343 Industries haven't exactly been advertising like crazy for the release of Halo Wars 2, which is how the RTS games' February 17 release has snuck up on a lot of gamers.  Will continue to fly below the radar or is the launch trailer just the first salvo in a full-on marketing bombardment?

Coming 8 years after the release of 2009's Halo Wars, the human crew of the UNSC warship Spirit of Fire is back but this time, they'll have to contend with a new alien species known simply as the Banished.

In addition to a story consisting of 13 chapters, multiplayer will also be available, with a number of different modes that will accomodate up to 6 players online.

Chornologically, Halo Wars 2 takes place 29 years after the events of the first game and occurs  shortly after the conclusion of Halo 5: Guardians.
