More powerful, more beautiful Xbox One (X) releases this Tuesday and the masterminds behind the project have a chance to share their predictions and hope for the upcoming debut. In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, Phil Spencer the executive vice president of gaming at Microsoft expressed his hope that the system's first-party games will soon be available for Playstation.
Microsoft already releases products on multiple systems via their "Play Anywhere" initiative. It allows PC gamers to experience franchises that originally released on Xbox. The company also bought Mojang, the creators of Minecraft which is available on PC, Xbox and Playstation, but the gamers that use Sony's machine play on separated servers, using the Playstation Network.
Regardless, let's not get our hopes up, as Microsoft won't release their first-party games on Playstation anytime soon, taking into account Xbox One X's upcoming release and the Redmond gigant's expected strong support of the system.
