The consistently delayed third entry of the explosive
Crackdown series was officially revealed by Microsoft at their E3 media briefing nearly four years ago and the title will release on February 15, 2019 for Xbox One and Windows 10.
Crackdown 3 will be also available on the Xbox Game Pass, a special subscription service that allows XO owners play selected Xbox titles on the day of release.
In the latest IGN First video, Microsoft Studios Creative Director Joseph Staten walks you through a section from a new build of
Crackdown 3's all-new single-player campaign. The player's main goal in those story missions is dismantling a ruthless criminal empire that has corrupted a once-great futuristic city, forcing you to cut through gang-infested streets on foot and in a transforming vehicle.
The game's other major mode, the multiplayer
Wrecking Zone focuses on destroying as many things as you can in the shortest time possible. A quick look at the gameplay footage that you can check out down below confirms that the upcoming sandbox definitely is a
Crackdown game, which means that you will have a chance to ruin whole buildings, but getting rid of your opponents will be also rewarded.
