Two generations ago, the Prince of Persia series was competing with God of War as equals. The Sands of Time revolutionized the way characters moved in video-games and made it astonishingly responsive. Warrior Within was one of the best revived games of 2004, and The Two Thrones ended the trilogy with a bang. Ubisoft tried to reboot the series with the beautiful Prince of Persia in 2008. Disney made a movie adaptation of the first game, and after The Forgotten Sands, the series was put on hold.

But the fans rememberer that before Assassin's Creed became Ubisoft's biggest franchise, there was Prince of Persia. Many of them would love to see a new game and Jordan Mechner who gave the world the first games in the series is one of them too. Ubisoft confirmed that Prince of Persia is still on pause, but if Beyond Good and Evil can get a sequel, what's stopping the Prince of Persia?
