It has been confirmed today that Warner Bros. will re-release both of the LEGO Harry Potter games (Years 1 - 4 and Years 5 - 7 cover the entire series of books and films) on PlayStation 4. Contained on one disc, they'll reach the console on October 21st just in time for the release of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them - which has a six-part story pack in Lego Dimensions - in theaters worldwide.

As well as having remastered HD graphics, this collection will have some new content in the form of a character and spell pack. The former includes the four founders of Hogwarts, Peeves the poltergeist, Professor Lockhart (in a straight jacket), and new variations of Harry, Luna, Ron and Hermione.

There's no word on if and when the LEGO Harry Potter Collection will reach other platforms, but this promises to be a must-have for fans. Both of these games were well reviews upon release, and while it would have been nice to have even more new content, there will no doubt be plenty of players out there who never checked these out the first time, so that may not end up mattering too much.
