MTV Games and EA have announced a new feature will be available this week to ease the process of downloading new tracks for Rock Band on Xbox 360 and PS3.

The new in-game Rock Band Music Store has been designed to allow players to search for and purchase new songs without having to leave the game.

The Rock Band Music Store will allow players to sort downloadable song tracks by Artist, Song Title, Genre, Albums, and Pack. Additional features will include the ability to view album art, listen to song previews, as well as check out detailed information about a song, such as difficulty for each instrument.

The Rock Band Music Store update will be free and download automatically via Xbox Live for Xbox 360 and the Playstation Network for PS3.

You can check out the over 125 currently available songs for download at www.rockband.com/dlc.
