Heads up, Nintendo Switch owners, as we have some good news regarding Matt Makes Games' indie platformer
Celeste, as Limited Run Games has announced that a new shipment of physical copies for the award-winning title will now be including the "Farewell" DLC.
Limited Run Games was also the company in charge of making the physical copies for the PlayStation 4 version of
Celeste, and in the announcement they mention that the new shipment starts with the Nintendo Switch standard edition; possibly giving away that PlayStation 4 physical copies that include the DLC could soon begin shipping.
For those unaware,
Celeste is a very challenging — albeit quite fair — indie platformer with some very tight controls and great music, which sees players taking control of Madeline: a girl that has set out on a quest to climb and conquer the mysterious Celeste mountain.
Ever since the game was released January of last year,
Celeste has been universally praised and even went on to win the Game Award for best independet game, as well as the Games for Impact award at last year's The Game Awards; with a story that tackles mental health issues in a subtle, and yet powerful manner.
Help Madeline survive her inner demons on her journey to the top of Celeste Mountain, in this super-tight, hand-crafted platformer from the creators of multiplayer classic TowerFall. The controls are simple and accessible - simply jump, air-dash, and climb - but with layers of expressive depth to master, where every death is a lesson. Lightning-fast respawns keep you climbing as you uncover the mysteries of the mountain and brave its many perils.
Celeste is currently available for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC(Steam).
