It was a big weekend for the Path of Exile franchise. Not only did developer Grinding Gear Games announce a full-fledged sequel, but they also revealed that they are working on a mobile version of their beloved RPG series..

Path of Exile Mobile is described as an "experimental" title, developed entirely in-house at Grinding Gear Games. Aware of the negative connotation that often comes with mobile titles, Grinding Gear is avoiding the typical "bulls---" elements, such as microtransactions, time-gates, energy bars, notifications, video ads, etc. Grinding Gear is avoiding this "evil garbage" with Path of Exile Mobile.

Citing improved tech, Path of Exile Mobile is said to be the "complete Path of Exile game experience" with "zero compromise." The only major difference fans can expect is with the map, which has been tailored to allow for a shorter game session.
