If things had gone as they were originally planned the Black Widow feature film from Marvel Studios would have released in theaters today. However, due to obvious reasons, the movie's launch is postponed to November of this year, occupying the date once held by Marvel's upcoming ensemble film The Eternals.
Not so coincidentally, Kabam's mobile title MARVEL Contest of Champions is featuring Black Widow and Red Guardian this month, releasing both characters alongside a special Event Quest - Black Widow: Red By Dawn. While that would have been great promotion while the movie was meant to have its theatrical run, at least this way Black Widow fans will have something to tide them over until the film's eventual release.
MARVEL Contest of Champions is a mobile brawler and the type of game that is easy to get addicted to. With the need to assemble the ultimate team in order to climb the ranks and defeat opponents, two new Battlerealm contenders such as Black Widow and Red Guardian will likely be welcomed by gamers.
