MARVEL CONTEST OF CHAMPIONS: The 2020 Summoner Showdown Has Officially Begun

After a bit of a wait, the time is finally here for the 2020 Summoner Showdown to begin in MARVEL Contest of Champions! The highly anticipated competition, which will be featured in the mobile game, has been hyped up for quite some time, and now, players from around the world are ready to test their mettle.

With this week beginning the qualifiers for the event, players will be able to take on a new boss every week until the end of the event! From the 17th to the 24th of August players will be taking on the power cosmic of the Silver Surfer; the second week, running from August 31st to September 7th which will see players go higher, further and faster with Captain Marvel; for the third week (September 14th to the end of the event on September 21st) the final boss will be the nano clad avenger Iron Man in his Infinity War armor! 

For those true believers who don't plan on competing this year as intensely as others, don't worry! For those ready to showdown, the level 60 cavalier players can bring only 1, 4-star fighter into the tournament. However, those that want to show up to the event will be able to bring in a team of 5, 4-star heroes to compete against the bosses and can even win gold and 4-star shards that grows for every week that the player competes in!
