Pokemon Go is one of the biggest mobile games to have been active in the past decade, by letting fans interact with Pokemon and other trainers in a real-time environment. Developer Niantic has been hard at work to create some of the most authentic Pokemon experiences that one can have in the real world.
As the game grows, so does the fanbase, and with that, the demand for more and more community-style gameplay is desired for players that want a feel of togetherness in these trying times. As single players grow into a family of new Pokemon Go players, Niantic has been making sure to get everyone involved with new community day events.
Each month there is a day where trainers go out to catch select Pokemon that offer better goodies and stats compared to what there would typically be. Recently, a poll was announced for who the next two Pokemon would be for the following community day. The next potential Pokemon have been announced to be Caterpie, Charmander, Porygon, and Grimer!
The poll will begin in August and run until September 20th before the next community day event on October 17th! We would love to hear your thoughts on the polls and your choices in the comments below!
Pokémon Go is a free smartphone app that combines gaming with the real world. The game uses location tracking and mapping technology to create an 'augmented reality' where players catch and train Pokémon characters in real locations.
Voting for the next community day pokemon will be held from August 22nd to August 23rd on the Pokemon GO official Twitter!
