To say the first trailer for the live-action Sonic the Hedgehog film was a disaster is an understatement. In the backlash of the uproar director Jef Fowler insisted that the design would be changed o bring the character closer to his iconic video game look.
Of course, fans quickly began to work about the VFX crew on the film, who would have to "crunch" in order to change all the shots in the film featuring Sonic. Well Fowler has taken to Twitter to reveal that the film will now open on February 14, 2020 instead of November 8, 2019. This allows three additional months to revamp the design for Sonic.
