Detective Pikachu is just over a month's time away from arriving in theatres. The exciting film will bring many iconic
Pokemon creatures to life with some impressive, ultra-realistic CGI. This will be the first time we've officially seen the adorable monsters make their way into a live-action format. Thus, it's pretty interesting to see what these typically stylised characters would look like in the real world.
As mentioned, the film itself will be releasing on May 10th, but to quench your curiosity until then; check out this brand new International poster. DiscussingFilm recently got their hands on this Chinese poster and shared it on social-media (
@DiscussingFilm).
The colourful piece of promotional artwork features a total of fourteen
Pokemon. Now, that's nowhere near the immense amount that the film itself will feature, but at least we're now able to get a good look at a dozen or so of them.
There's Snorlax, Bulbasaur, Charmander, Charizard, Mr. Mime, Ludicolo, Psyduck, our best look yet at Squirtle, as well as Pikachu himself (not to mention one or two more that I can't personally name off the top of my head like the rest). This particular poster also features the film's two human leads: Justice Smith's Tim Goodman and Kathryn Newton's Lucy Stevens.

Detective Pikachu is set to arrive in theatres on May 10th, 2019.
