Earlier today we reported that the release date for the upcoming Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, in Japan, had been revealed by Bandai Namco; with the game finally releasing on the 16th of January, although we had no confirmation for the launch date in the West.

Now, we finally have confirmation that Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will be releasing in the West on the 17th of January — only a day after the game becomes available in Japan — and that pre-orders for the game are also currently available on Bandai Namco's official website.

The good news don't end there, however, as Bandai Namco also released a new trailer for the game — which finally gives us our first look at the Buu saga; something that hadn't quite been confirmed by the developer yet.
