Last month, Rebellion Developments surprised everybody by announcing that a bunch of Sniper Elite titles would be making their way into consoles this year, including
Sniper Elite V2 Remastered,
Sniper Elite 3 Ultimate Edition, and even revealing that
Sniper Elite 4 was officially in the works.
Rebellion didn't give us official release dates for any of the aforementioned titles, however, stating only that they would become available at some point in 2019, and today we have some new information regarding
Sniper Elite V2 Remastered that no fan of the series should miss.
Sniper Elite V2 Remastered — which is coming out for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC — has finally been given an official release date, and players will be able to relive this fantastic title when the game officially releases on the
14th of May.
One of the many things that this remastered edition of
Sniper Elite V2 will feature are enhanced graphics that support 4K & HDR(when available), as well as all of the DLC, and an awesome frame-by-frame photo mode.
Today we get a brand-new comparison video that gives us an idea of the graphical improvements that Rebellion Developments has made in
Sniper Elite V2 Remastered; so, without further ado, give this new trailer a look:
In the dark days of the end of World War Two amidst the ruins of Berlin, one bullet can change history… Sniper Elite V2 is an award-winning and authentic World War II sniping experience. You are elite US sniper Karl Fairburne. Parachuted into Berlin amidst the Germans’ final stand, your mission is to prevent Nazi V2 rocket program technology from falling into the hands of the besieging Red Army. You must aid key scientists keen to defect to the US, and terminate those who would help the Russians. As World War Two ends and the Cold War begins, every shot counts. Use it wisely.
Sniper Elite V2 Remastered will be available for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC on the 14th of May.
