The Pokemon Company has revealed a new set of holiday plush, and Pikachu is doing most of the work. The official Pokemon account shared the Holiday Helpers collection yesterday (October 16th), showing off a Pikachu dressed as a Christmas tree, a Pikachu riding a sleigh pulled by Clodsire, and three smaller Pikachu plush key chains. The plush are coming soon to Pokemon Center in the US, and Japan already has a release date locked in for next weekend.
The reveal post asked fans to pick a favorite, opening with a reminder to "leave the cookies out for Pikachu!" Check it out below:
A follow-up reply from the account confirmed the Holiday Helpers plush are coming soon to Pokemon Center, and pointed fans to the rest of this year's holiday collection in the meantime.
Every Holiday Helpers Plush
The official Pokemon website in the US gave each plush its own write-up. The centerpiece is a floppy-eared Pikachu wearing a full Christmas tree costume, covered in pastel ornaments with a glitter-trimmed red bow. The star on top of the tree is a golden Minior, which is a nice touch.
The biggest set piece is the sleigh. Pikachu sits in a sleigh adorned with golden accents and green bows, while Clodsire pulls it along, and both of them wear matching hats. The back of the seat even has Pikachu ears and a tail. The Pokemon site joked about it, asking "Who needs Stantler or Sawsbuck when Pikachu has a gallant Clodsire to pull its holiday sleigh!"
The three smaller plush key chains each have their own theme. One Pikachu is cruising on what the site calls its Porygon-mobile, newly upgraded to the latest model. Another is packed into a ball of snow with a Santa-style cap and a snowy beard. The third has its eyes closed while it takes a bite of a cream-filled Tangela cookie.
Japan Prices And Release Date
The Japanese Pokemon website shared the full lineup, where the collection goes by Christmas Junbi Chu, a pun that roughly means getting ready for Christmas with Pikachu's signature "chu" worked in. It goes on sale at Pokemon Center stores in Japan next Saturday (October 24th), with Pokemon Center Online starting two days earlier (October 22nd) at 10 a.m. local time. Here is what the plush cost in Japan, with tax included:
- Pikachu and Clodsire sleigh plush: 5,500 yen
- Christmas Tree Pikachu plush: 4,400 yen
- Cookie-snacking Pikachu mascot: 2,200 yen
- Snow-covered Pikachu mascot: 2,200 yen
- Pikachu with Porygon2 toy mascot: 2,200 yen
The Japanese listing shows a Porygon2 under the riding Pikachu, so the Porygon-mobile is a Porygon2 that got the upgrade. Japan's version of the collection also goes well beyond plush. The artwork shows Tangrowth playing dress-up as a Christmas tree and Clodsire pulling the sleigh, and the lineup includes a Tangrowth Christmas sweater, a Stunfisk cardigan, a light-up Blacephalon mirror ball, an advent box, a Tangrowth party headband, a Pikachu hooded scarf, and mini card sets that feature Paldean Wooper. Prices range from 385 yen for a clear file up to 8,800 yen for the sweaters and cardigans.
The Pokemon Center Yokohama Satellite store has not confirmed whether it will carry the line, and Pokemon notes that stock and quantities vary by store, with purchase limits possible.
What We Know About The US Release
Pokemon has not shared US prices, sizes, or a release date yet. The US announcement only says the plush are coming to Pokemon Center, and it did not mention whether the sweaters, mirror ball, and other items from Japan will also make the trip.
While fans wait, Pokemon Center already launched its main 2026 holiday collection, called Winter Night Sky, earlier this week (October 14th). That line is available now in the US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, with the UK and Germany coming soon. It includes ornaments, stockings, table runners, and gift-wrapping supplies featuring Pikachu, Amaura, Mew, and Piplup, plus new additions to the Holiday Pokemon Village figure series. New knit sweaters and holiday pajamas are listed as coming soon, and a Winter Night Sky sticker sheet is being given out with purchases while supplies last.
Pokemon Center also says it will have exclusive bundles and a gift-with-purchase offer during Black Friday weekend, so it's worth signing up for its emails if you want to know the moment the Holiday Helpers go live.
Are you grabbing the Christmas Tree Pikachu the second it drops, or is the Clodsire sleigh the one going under your tree?
