Yesterday the developers at Toys For Bob shared a new, and exciting gameplay video for Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time, revealing that Tawna will be the fifth and final playable character to be added to the the upcoming 3D platformer title.
The announcement was made in a recent episode of the PlayStation Underground, and more information about Tawna was shared on the official PlayStation Blog, where some details about the character's new design, abilities, and backstory were revealed.
Toys For Bob also revealed that Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time will be getting a playable demo on both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, although there is a small caveat; the demo will only be available for players who pre-order a digital copy of the upcoming game.
According to the developer, the playable demo for Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time will become available on Wednesday the 16th of September — which is actually next week — and will give players access to Snow Way Out and Dino Dash, which are levels that we have already seen in previously released trailers.
The Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time demo will also give players an alternate timeline of Snow Way Out, which is played as Dr. Neo Cortext, which is actually a pretty decent amount of content for players to sink their teeth into.
Concept art and in-game screenshots that focus on Tawna have also been released, so be sure to check them out down below, and let us know your thoughts in the usual place.
Have a look:
Picking up where the original trilogy left off, Neo Cortex and DR. Nefarious Tropy have escaped their interdimensional prison and in doing so have fractured the boundaries of time and space. It's up to Crash and Coco to save the day.
Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time will release for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on Friday the 2nd of October.
