GRAND THEFT AUTO V Becomes The Best-Selling Game Of All Time In The United States

The publisher said that GTA V is currently the best-selling game in the history of American market. In yesterday's annual report, Take-Two announced that since the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 premiere in September 2013 the game was shipped to shops (also in the digital form) in 85 million copies.

The exact selling numbers are unknown, so it's hard to say if GTA V surpassed the old record holder, Wii Sports which found 82,93 million customers. Regardless of the current numbers, Rockstar's enormous achievement will surpass Nintendo Wii's launch title sooner or later. The developer doesn't stop supporting it and GTA Online is still vastly popular among the gamers.

These facts lead to the conclusion that we won't see GTA VI anytime soon, but according to the rumor Rockstar has already started developing the next installment of the series. One thing is guaranteed - GTA VI will have a hard time topping the achievements of its predecessor.
