Next week, the highly anticipated nightclub-themed update for
Grand Theft Auto Online - the massive multiplayer mode for
Grand Theft Auto 5 - will release for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
Officially titled
GTA Online: After Hours, the update, which was first announced last month, will allow players to operate a "top shelf" nightclub featuring world-class DJ acts Solomun, Tale Of Us, Dixon, and The Black Madonna. Of course, these clubs will ultimately be "used as a front for the most concentrated network of criminal enterprise ever to hit San Andreas."
In a trailer released today, it was revealed that the mastermind behind all of this is none other than Tony Prince, aka "Gay Tony," who fans of the series will remember from Grand Theft Auto 4's The Ballad of Gay Tony add-on.
Specific details regarding the
After Hours update are still being kept under wraps, but the above trailer does hint at a few new features, including blimp travel, a huge garage for high-end vehicles and, of course, new clothing and furniture. It's possible that with the arrival of Gay Tony we could finally get some substantial story-driven content in
GTA Online.
The nightclubs open when
GTA Online: After Hours releases on July 24.
