RUMOR: Rockstar's GRAND THEFT AUTO VI Will Be Released In 2022; Get Ready To Return To Vice City

They say that in every rumour there's always an atom of truth and Grand Theft Auto V was released in 2013, so what would you say about returning to Vice City with Project Americas, also known as GTA VI?

According to The Know crew, the Grand Theft Auto series will return in 2022. Apparently, Rockstar Games has just begun working on the sixth installment of the series which is currently known as „Project Americas”. The source says that players will have a chance to travel between the fictional version of Miami and South America and main mission focuses on drug dealing and smuggling.

It seems that GTA will return to Vice City after a long brake. Interestingly, one of the main characters (if not the main protagonist) will be a woman, but it's still too early to say how many playable characters will be featured in the game and Rockstar may even return to the strategy from the old GTAs with just one main "hero". Americas will give the gamers a chance to use a variety of vehicles to transport drugs.

Of course, these are just rumors, but The Know has a good track record when it comes to revealing details before official announcements, like they did with Dark Souls 3. It's wise to not expect any announcement regarding Grand Theft Auto VI before the release of Red Dead Redemption 2 on October 26, 2018.
