Following character profiles for
Captain America and
Hulk, it's now time for Tony Stark, aka Iron Man, to take center stage. A new character profile spotlights the inventor and tech wunderkind.
The teaser shows off some alternate suits before jumping into gameplay. It certainly looks like Iron Man packs a powerful punch as the close-up action has a heavy feel to it, but some viewers were a bit confused by the green lights emitting after each move.
In
Marvel's Avengers, Tony Stark will be voiced by acclaimed voice actor Nolan North. It won't be the same characterization as brought to life by Robert Downey Jr. on the big screen in the MCU, but it seems as if this version will still boast the same witty remarks that the characer is known for.
Marvel’s Avengers begins at A-Day, where Captain America, Iron Man, the Hulk, Black Widow, and Thor are unveiling a hi-tech Avengers Headquarters in San Francisco — including the reveal of their own helicarrier powered by an experimental energy source. The celebration turns deadly when a catastrophic accident results in massive devastation. Blamed for the tragedy, the Avengers disband. Five years later, with all Super Heroes outlawed and the world in peril, the only hope is to reassemble Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.
Marvel's Avengers is set to launch on May 15, 2020 for Xbox One, PS4, PC, and Google Stadia.
