It had been a while since we've last heard anything from Activision and developer FromSoftware's critically acclaimed Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. The game launched in March of last year, and got insanely positive reviews from both critics and mainstream plyers alike.
Back in August of last year, Activision officially announced that the game had sold a staggering 3.8 million copies as of June of that year, and managing to surpass the number of copies that other FromSoftware-developed titles had managed to sell, such as Dark Souls 2 and Dark Souls 3.
Ever since the information above was revealed, however, not much has been shared in regards to Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. Interestingly enough, FromSoftware and Activision have just announced that more content is coming the game's way, which is expected to arrive in just a few more months.
According to Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice's Japanese website, the critically acclaimed title will be getting some free content on the 29th of October for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. This content will be adding a new mode called "Reflections of Strength", which will allow players to test their skills against some of the bosses they have previously defeated.
As per Activision's official Blog, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice will also get some cosmetics that will change the Wolf's outfits, including "Tengu" and "Old Ashina Shinobi" — which will be added via the upcoming update — and a third outfit that can be unlocked by simply beating the game.
Activision does remind players that these outfits are purely cosmetic, and will not give players any special abilities.
In Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice you are the “one-armed wolf”, a disgraced and disfigured warrior rescued from the brink of death. Bound to protect a young lord who is the descendant of an ancient bloodline, you become the target of many vicious enemies, including the dangerous Ashina clan.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is currently available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
