Yakuza: Like a Dragon really looks liek it will be something special, featuring a new main protagonist and a new cast of characters but keeping most of the elements that have made the series such a household name; some elements, since we know that combat will be completely different this time around.
We still don't have an official release date for Yakuza: Like a Dragon here in the West, but Sega and Ryū ga Gotoku(also known as Yakuza Studio) have revealed that the game is becoming available at a yet-to-be-determined date in November.
The good news is that the developers have confirmed that the game will be fully dubbed in English — becoming the second game in the Yakuza series to be localised — and the cast of actors that will be voicing these new characters has already been revealed.
One of the most surprising announcements made in the past few days is that legendary actor George Takei will be lending his voice to Yakuza: Like a Dragon in a supporting role, and that Kaiji Tang was cast as new series main protagonist Ichiban Kasuga.
Sega has already released a behind the scenes that sees George Takei introducing us to his character, and another behind the scenes that introduces players to Ichiban Kasuga and voice actor Kaiji Tang.
Today, Sega has released yet another behind the scenes for Yakuza: Like a Dragon, and this time they are introducing us to Elizabeth Maxwell — who some may know as Ghost in the Shell: The New Movie's voice actress for Motoko Kusanagi — as she reveals more details about the character she's voicing: Saeko Mukouda.
