Over the past couple of weeks, rumors have been doing the rounds claiming that Ubisoft's
Assassin's Creed III would be releasing on Nintendo's handheld hybrid console; particularly in the form of
Assassin's Creed III + Liberation.
The rumors seem feasible due to the fact that Ubisoft announced an
Assassin's Creed III HD remaster for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. While the Nintendo Switch may be oberpowered by the other platforms, this rumoured Assassin's
Creed III + Liberation game does sound like a good alternative for Switch owners.
Recently, Ubisoft has update the
Assassin's Creed III: Remastered information on the Ubisoft Club website, which includes the Nintendo Switch as one of the platforms the game will be releasing on; suggesting that Switch owners won't be getting that rumoured
Assassin's Creed III + Liberation bundle, but the remastered edition instead.
This new information is as official as it gets without Ubisoft officially announcing the game, but it all points out that
Assassin's Creed III: Remastered for the Nintendo Switch is a reality and it will likely be revealed soon; keeping in mind that it comes out for other platforms on the 29th of March. We'll just have to wait and see how this story develops.
