Following the recent reveal of the Assassin's Creed Odyssey post-launch content, Ubisoft has finally decided to reveal some details regarding the upcoming remaster of Assassin’s Creed III. First of all, the new version of the 2012-released game will launch at some point next March. As a reminder, the Season Pass costs $40 and is also included in Odyssey's Gold, Ultimate, Spartan and Pantheon Editions.
According to Ubisoft, Assassin’s Creed III: Remastered will include all the DLCs: Benedict Arnold Missions, Hidden Secrets Pack, and Tyranny of King George. That’s not all, as the title will also feature the game’s critically acclaimed spin-off, Assassin's Creed III: Liberation Remastered. As expected, remastered editions will feature 4K and HDR on PlayStation 4 Pro, Xbox One X, and PC, higher resolution textures leveraging a new graphics engine, and several other graphical enhancements.
The players who are not interested in purchasing the AC: Odyssey season pass will also have a chance to buy ACIII: Remastered as a stand-alone title. It sounds great so far, right? Well, here’s the bad news - Assassin's Creed III Remastered won't feature any multiplayer modes. Ubisoft also revealed that there will be a Discovery Tour for Assassin's Creed Odyssey down the line. Check it out:
