Assassin's Creed Odyssey is now available and as such players have begun scouring the expansive open-world for all it has to offer. Side quests, intriguing lore, fun easter eggs; this newly discovered one of the latter is a reference to the Marvel Studios film Black Panther - which came out back in February and took the world by storm.
In the film, the African nation of Wakanda's leader is chosen via a trial by combat. The scene in which this takes place features combatants taking each other on amid shallow water, near the edge of a treacherous waterfall, whilst a colourfully-garbed crowd looks on. Odyssey replicates this scene.
At the Gortyn Watefall location, in Messera, you'll come across two men, amid shallow water, brawling to the cheers of a colourful audience. Check it out in the video below:
