Assassin's Creed Odyssey is only a few weeks away from releasing, and Ubisoft has posted a new trailer that goes over the extra content players can find post launch and in the season pass.
Post launch, Ubisoft will be giving season pass owners more story content in a new episodic format, which will be compiled in two story arcs of three episodes each, for a total of 6 new episodes of extra content for
Assassin's Creed Odyssey.
Legacy of the First Blade will be the first story arc and its first episode will release in December of this year. This story arc will have players fighting alongside the first hidden blade wielder.
The Fate of Atlantis is the second story arc and the first episode is scheduled to release at some point in
Spring of 2019. In this story arc, players will fight godly creatures and uncover the secrets of Atlantis—getting players even closer to Greek mythology and The First Civilisation.
Episodes for both of these story arcs will be releasing roughly every six weeks one from the other, so players can look forward to every episode or get all of them at once when the arcs have completely released.
As a surprise, Ubisoft is giving season pass owners a remastered version of
Assassin's Creed III, which was released in 2012—allowing players to experience this story in high definition.
Assassin's Creed Odyssey will also come with free content, offering players The Lost Tales of Greece. This free content consists of free quests that will feature familiar faces, as well as new characters from the world of
Assassin's Creed Odyssey. These quests will also be released regularly in-between DLC episodes.
