Fans of the Assassin's Creed series will be delighted to hear that Assassin's Creed 2 composer Jesper Kyd is making a comeback to the series, and will be producing the soundtrack for the recently announced Assassin's Creed Valhalla, although he will be joined by other talented composers.
As revealed by Ubisoft earlier today, Jesper Kyd will be joined by Sarah Schachner — who players may be familiar with, since she's also composed the soundtracks for Assassin's Creed Origins, Anthem, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla will also see Norwegian composer Einar Selvik making his debut as a video game composer; giving that much-needed Norse vibe to the latest entry in the Assassin's Creed series.
For those who may not be familiar with Selvik's work, you'll be pleased to find out that he has composed for the History Channel's critically acclaimed series Vikings, so thhe is already a very welcome addition to produce music for Assassin's Creed Valhalla.
If there is one thing that the Assassin's Creed series has always gotten right, is the phenomenal soundtracks that help players immerse even more in the games' rich worlds, and it seems that Assassin's Creed Valhalla is already in great hands in that particular regard.
In Assassin’s Creed® Valhalla, you are Eivor, a fierce Viking warrior raised on tales of battle and glory. Explore a dynamic and beautiful open world set against the brutal backdrop of England’s Dark Ages.
