Assassin's Creed Valhalla is the next installment in the long-running Assassin's Creed video game series. They're typically stealth-action games but have taken on RPG elements as of late. Assassin's Creed Valhalla is all about Vikings and, seemingly, Norse mythology.
The game was revealed back in April, but we're yet to see any actual gameplay — the announcement trailer was cinematic. However, we're sure to see the game in action tomorrow during the Ubisoft Forward digital conference. The next Far Cry game will also be revealed, as Ubisoft recently confirmed.
Far Cry 6 was recently subject to a significant leak. Now it's Assassin's Creed Valhalla's turn. While the Far Cry 6 leak was the fault of the PlayStation Store, Assassin's Creed Valhalla's release date has leaked online directly via Ubisoft's own Instagram account.
Based on the now-deleted social media post (via @Wario64), Assassin's Creed Valhalla will release for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Google Stadia, and PC on November 17th, 2020. Assassin's Creed Valhalla is also confirmed for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X — but we don't know whether or not those consoles will be out at that point.
November 17th is just two days before November 19th, A.K.A. the currently set release date for Cyberpunk 2077. What's more, November 17th is a Tuesday and November 19th is a Thursday, so it seems both titles are avoiding Friday, November 20th. This has led many to believe November 20th could be when the next-generation consoles will make their debut.
