Yesterday, Ubisoft officially announced that the remastered version of
Assassin's Creed III, the best-selling
AC game to date, will be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on the 29th of March.
Following that revelation, the French publisher has released an all-new gameplay trailer packed with beautifully looking footage and a bunch of hi-res screenshots that you can check out down below.
Assassin's Creed III - Remastered is basically a GOTY version of the critically acclaimed 2012 video game that will feature not only the base game, but also its spin-off
Assassin's Creed III: Liberation – Remastered and all the DLCs:
Benedict Arnold Missions, Hidden Secrets Pack, and
The Tyranny of King Washington. The upcoming title will be available in a classic boxed version and you will get its digitized version for free by purchasing the
Assassin's Creed: Odyssey season pass (currently priced at $40).
The remaster will support 4K and HDR, higher resolution textures leveraging a new graphics engine, and several other graphical enhancements on PlayStation 4 Pro, Xbox One X, and PC. Take a look:
